Iran Pledges Continued Military Action Until “Enemies” Surrender
Spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari warned of “more crushing, expanded and devastating actions” in retaliation for U.S. and Israeli strikes. He criticized the two nations for having limited knowledge of Iran’s military capabilities, stating, “You know nothing of our very expanded and strategic capacities.”
Zolfaghari further claimed that the “enemies” cannot access Iran’s strategic military production sites and “must pay the price” for their “aggression.”
Supporting this stance, Iran’s Defense Ministry spokesman Reza Talaei-Nik said Thursday that the “enemy” has failed to “divide (Iran), topple the establishment, weaken the Iranian armed forces, sow discord in the country's national sovereignty, incite internal unrest, open the Strait of Hormuz and make the people abandon their resistance and defense.”
Talaei-Nik pledged that Iranian forces, citizens, and allied resistance groups will continue punishing “enemies” until reparations are secured, U.S. bases in West Asia are destroyed, American troops are expelled, full surrender is achieved, and guarantees are obtained that no future wars will target Iran.
The conflict escalated after joint U.S. and Israeli attacks on Tehran and other Iranian cities on February 28, which reportedly killed Iran’s then Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei along with senior military officials and civilians. Iran retaliated with missile and drone strikes against U.S. and Israeli targets across the region and imposed restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz for vessels linked to these countries.
