Broader Defense Platform Takes Shape as NAPC Defense Builds Momentum Under New NAPD Identity
CLEARWATER, Fla., Aug. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NAPC Defense, Inc. (OTCID: NAPD) (“NAPC Defense” or the “Company”), a U.S.-licensed defense manufacturer with exclusive rights to produce and distribute the CornerShot® USA system, today provided shareholders and the investment community with a consolidated update highlighting several recent corporate and operating milestones, including the Company's completed transition to the NAPD ticker symbol, record first-quarter sales, its return to current SEC reporting status, and completion of key quality, cybersecurity and secure-network requirements supporting its U.S. government contracting activities.
The Company believes these developments collectively represent an important step in its strategy to build a broader U.S. defense manufacturing and technology platform with multiple products, capabilities and avenues for government business.
A New Market Identity: NAPD
NAPC Defense recently completed its long-awaited ticker symbol transition from BLIS to NAPD.
Management believes NAPD provides investors, customers and industry partners with a clearer connection between the Company's market identity and its corporate name and defense-focused operations. For further information, please go to www.napcdefense.com.
“Our new NAPD symbol gives the market a much clearer picture of who we are and what we are building,” said Kenny West, CEO of NAPC Defense. “This is more than an administrative milestone for us. It is another indication that the Company is moving forward with a clear focus on servicing our government customers and accelerating long-term growth.”
Record $5.288 Million Quarter: 100% U.S. Government Sales
NAPC Defense reports a significant operating milestone, for the fiscal first quarter ended July 31, 2026, as the Company generated approximately $5.288 million in sales, its highest quarterly sales level to date. Importantly, 100% of first-quarter sales were generated from U.S. government contracts.
“Our first-quarter results demonstrate that our contracting strategy is beginning to translate into meaningful operating activity,” West said. “Generating a record $5.288 million in quarterly sales are results that plenty of Nasdaq companies would envy and, more importantly, gives us a strong foundation towards our objective of converting our earned access into additional opportunities and ultimately additional business.”
NAPC Defense also said it currently expects its second quarter to be stronger than its first quarter, based on current business activity and its contract pipeline. Actual results remain dependent on government orders, task orders, contract performance and other factors.
The Company's government-contracting platform includes access to awarded U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicles on which NAPC Defense serves as a prime contractor. The combined contract ceilings are approximately $57.1 billion, with the respective vehicles extending through 2032 and 2034.
NAPC Defense Is Current with SEC Filings
NAPC Defense also filed its Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended April 30, 2026, bringing the Company current in its required SEC periodic reporting.
Management views the filing as another important piece of the Company's corporate transformation, providing investors with an updated and comprehensive look at NAPC Defense, its operations and its strategy for building a diversified defense platform.
“Our latest 10-K gives shareholders a comprehensive view of where NAPC Defense stands today and where management intends to take the business,” West said.
NAPC Defense's strategy includes continued development and commercialization of specialized defense products, expansion into complementary defense and protective technologies, and potential growth through research and development partnerships, acquisitions and licensing arrangements.
The Company continues to hold exclusive rights to produce and distribute the CornerShot® USA system, while seeking to build a broader portfolio of defense-related technologies and capabilities.
Government-Contracting Infrastructure Continues to Expand
NAPC Defense has also completed a series of quality, cybersecurity, CUI and secure-network requirements supporting its U.S. government contracting activities.
The Company has completed ISO 9000 certification for its CQM and CQA requirements, supporting its quality-management and quality-assurance processes. NAPC Defense has also completed its Cybersecurity Qualification and CUI compliance requirements, as well as its Secure Network compliance.
“Completing these requirements strengthens the operational foundation behind our government business,” West said. “We want NAPC Defense to have the quality systems, cybersecurity controls and secure infrastructure necessary to compete for increasingly sophisticated government opportunities.”
Management believes these qualifications, combined with the Company's existing government-contracting access and manufacturing capabilities, strengthen its platform for pursuing additional U.S. government opportunities.
Building a Broader U.S. Defense Platform
The recent milestones provide NAPC Defense with what management views as several important building blocks for its next stage of development.
The NAPD ticker is now in place. SEC reporting is current. First-quarter sales reached a record $5.288 million, entirely from U.S. government contracts. The Company has access to significant Navy and Air Force IDIQ contract vehicles and has completed key quality, cybersecurity and secure-network requirements.
Together, the Company believes these developments support its strategy of expanding beyond a single-product business and building a diversified defense platform serving U.S. government, military and security customers.
“We believe NAPC Defense is entering a period where the pieces of the business are beginning to reinforce one another,” West said. “Our government relationships, manufacturing capabilities, compliance infrastructure and defense technology portfolio give us a platform from which we can pursue additional opportunities.”
NAPC Defense intends to continue evaluating opportunities to expand its defense portfolio through organic development, strategic partnerships, acquisitions and licensing, while maintaining its focus on U.S. government and defense markets.
“Our priorities are straightforward: execute on the business we have today, strengthen our capabilities and identify opportunities that can expand the Company over time,” West concluded. “We believe the foundation we have established gives NAPC Defense an opportunity to build something substantially broader than the business we started with.”
