TOMI's iHP Platform Concept Extends Core Technology into Robotaxi Depots, Drone Fleets and Robotic Systems

FREDERICK, Md., Sept. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc.^® (“TOMI”) (NASDAQ: TOMZ), a global leader in disinfection and decontamination solutions, today announces a modular set of integration concepts for its SteraMist ionized Hydrogen Peroxide (iHP) platform, being explored for potential deployment across autonomous vehicle fleets, drone platforms and robotic systems. The introduction builds on the strategy of positioning its iHP technology at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous systems, robotics and biosecurity, extending that strategy into a configurable concept for fleet depots.

TOMI is designing concepts to serve depots across the mobility spectrum, from rental car operations to robotaxi fleets, addressing a gap as autonomous vehicles increasingly operate without a driver present to inspect or sanitize a cabin between rides.

TOMI is exploring multiple integration concepts, including handheld spray application for precision surface treatment, whole-room fogging for full-facility coverage, and integration onto robotic articulation for automated, no-touch decontamination cycles. TOMI believes this modularity could allow fleet, drone and robotics operators to add validated iHP decontamination to existing automated workflows rather than building new infrastructure around it.

The introduction follows TOMI's previously announced initiatives around drone-enabled, robotic and AI-powered deployment of its SteraMist iHP platform, and its identification of the robotaxi market as a long-term growth opportunity as autonomous fleets scale. SteraMist's iHP platform is envisioned as a configurable product line concept intended to meet automated mobility, drone and robotics operators where their workflows already are.
