Complexity does not mean years of implementation ... The goal is to distill complex processes down to what matters most.”

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Vroozi, a leading provider of AI-powered procurement and accounts payable automation solutions, will host the Aerospace & Defense Tech Forum: The Future of AI-Powered Procurement on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at a rooftop venue in Beverly Hills. The limited-attendance evening is designed for procurement, finance and operations leaders at aerospace, defense, space and manufacturing companies. Discussion will center on how AI and agentic commerce are changing the way these organizations source parts, manage suppliers and meet government compliance requirements.

The forum follows Vroozi’s inclusion in The Hackett Group® Fall 2026 SolutionMap across e-Procurement, Procure-to-Pay and AP Automation/Invoice-to-Pay.
Southern California has become one of the country's busiest centers for aerospace and defense work. According to a Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation report cited by the Los Angeles Times, aerospace and defense companies added 11,000 jobs in Los Angeles County between 2022 and 2024. By September 2025, venture capital deals in L.A.-area defense-tech companies had exceeded $4 billion. For these growing companies, procurement is central to scaling operations while maintaining visibility, parts traceability and compliance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements.

“Aerospace and defense companies are building what this country needs for exploration, discovery and defense, and the number of them starting up and growing here in Los Angeles is phenomenal,” said Shaz Khan, co-founder and CEO of Vroozi. “These teams need visibility and traceability across their purchasing while navigating complex government requirements, and they’re being asked to move faster at the same time.”

The evening’s featured session is a fireside chat moderated by Khan with a senior leader from a leading defense shipbuilder and Vroozi customer. The discussion will explore how procurement and supply chain operations are being re-engineered to meet the demands of the defense industry. The broader forum will also examine the responsible use of AI and AI agents, including security and regulatory considerations for companies handling sensitive government work.

“Complexity does not mean years of implementation,” Khan said. “Aerospace and defense teams need speed, strong controls and technology their people can actually use. The goal is to distill complex processes down to what matters most, so people can get their work done while maintaining the visibility and accountability these industries require.”

The forum runs from 4 to 6:30 p.m. PT, with a reception and executive networking following the fireside chat. Attendance is limited, and all requests are reviewed and confirmed by the Vroozi team.
